WIND TURBINES
At Ventum Academy we have two powered wind turbines to carry out all the necessary maintenance and operations practices on them.
Our courses are designed from the real experience of wind farms technicians. It is about carrying out, under the same conditions as in the wind farm, all preventive and corrective maintenance operations. We are looking for a 99% real experience, only 77 meters high will be missing…
One of our nacelles has been raised three meters to generate a real experience of access to the wind turbine, lifting all the tools and their evacuation and rescue practices.
The other one is in a lower position to allow greater accessibility and therefore fluidity when performing machine operations.
The machines have “ground” cabinets to carry out the previous operation of access to the tower is carried out, as well as the interaction practices with the wind turbine.
The nacelles, being fully enabled, allow 360º yaw movement, rotor rotation, pitch system rotation, fan drives, heating elements, filtering systems, etc.
All corrective and component change operations will be carried out in either of the two 100% real nacelles.
